Booking → confirmation and reminder
When someone books a slot, they get a confirmation email, the event lands in your calendar and you get a Telegram message.
Beginner · 5 steps
Goal
Stop copying booking details by hand and stop no-shows caused by forgotten appointments.
You will need
- A booking tool with webhook or integration support
- A Make account
- A Gmail or Google Workspace account
- A Telegram bot token (from BotFather)
Booking → confirmation and reminder
When someone books a slot, they get a confirmation email, the event lands in your calendar and you get a Telegram message.
Step 1 of 5 · Trigger
New booking
A visitor confirms a time on your booking page.
What you set up
Connect your booking tool to Make using its integration or webhook.
Watch for
Time zones. Store the visitor’s time zone and show it in the email.
Setup steps
Decide what the visitor must see
Write the confirmation email first: time with time zone, location or video link, reschedule instructions.
Connect the booking tool to Make
Use the tool’s native Make integration if it has one, otherwise a webhook.
Run once to capture data
Make a real test booking so Make learns the field names.
Add the calendar, email and Telegram modules
Map the fields. Add a filter so cancelled bookings do not send a confirmation.
Add a reminder
Use a second scenario that runs on a schedule, finds tomorrow’s bookings and emails a reminder.
Turn the scenario on
Switch on scheduling in Make and watch the first three real bookings.
Test it before you rely on it
- Book, then check email, calendar and Telegram.
- Cancel the booking and confirm no confirmation is sent.
- Book in a different time zone and compare the times.
- Leave an optional field empty.
Caveats
- Module names and plan limits change. Check what your Make plan includes.
- Emails are sent from your own account. Mind the sending limits and your privacy policy.
